SummerShine Resort Staffing Ministry

Chris Thore, my former pastor at Central United Methodist Church and a good friend, commissioned me several years ago to develop a website for his side project, SummerShine Resort Staffing Ministries.  The ministry has been in existence since 1979 and has had hundreds of participants in the effort. Their main mission is to share Christ with vacationers in the resorts that they are based (currently 10 locations from Santa Cruz, California to Hatteras, North Carolina). I think this is the third or fourth version of this site that I've generated over the years.  The first was a struggling step into content management, with the final utilizing the full range of tools in my belt, including development of the logo that is currently used on all promotional materials.

First United Methodist Church Asheboro

This project came to me via my previous company. They had a lot of information gathered together for their site, but had lost contact with their previous web devloper (I think that is the scenario).  We pulled together the components letting MDI handle some of the layout concepts and I fine tuned them for the web. The finished product allows them to internally udate their pages and add in pictures, announcement and documents for download.

CUMC Forward in Faith

My church, Central United Methodist, asked me to come up with a logo concept for the "Retiring the Debt" campaign after renovating our church and adding on a Family Life Center.  This logo is supposed to convey the sense of family that we have at the church and working together to acheive a common goal...and moving forward (see how the "W" in the additional logo element below almost POPS off the screen at you???).
