Happy Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Website
Here is the site concept for Happy Paws Pet Sitting & Dog Walking. Sam wanted a simple clean site that said everything she needed to say in a few pages. To add in a few morsels for the search engines, I put in the javascript slider on the homepage to put in a bit more content without cluttering up the layout. The finished product was a fun departure from the in depth plugging away of a content managed site. If anyone needs a great pet sitter, give them a call!
Happy Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking
Sam Brit with Happy Paws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking contracted me to develop a logo and website for her new small business. Sam provides pet sitting services to Greensboro, Asheboro and places in between. I initially developed two different logos (the second pictured below in the gallery) one serious and one a bit more fun. After initally approving the serious look (the version below), she quickly decided to follow through with the "fun" one with a few tweeks (a more serious type face). The final version is a fun and clean version that makes for a bold display on the web or other marketing materials.

I probably should have waited until after breakfast to check out today's toon. I believe Rich has captured every perfectly proportioned pig part in tastebud tantelizing Technicolor no less. Yum Yum! Pass the Texas Pete....and a stomach pump.

Who hasn't wanted to hear the tale about roadkill that overcame insurmountable obstacles and the pressing problem of tires to the tush? Gather round young turtlets and hear the tale of the nigh on the OLR.

Gentlemen...light your grills. After a grueling day of working in the yard on a weekend, there's nothing like the smell of a freshly lit grill wafting on the breeze. Of course, it's always my neighbor's grill cause my skills on the grill tend to rival this weeks Dixie Drive panel. I'll have my blackened chicken extra-extra crispy.

This week's "Sweet Tea" strip had me rolling...the best to date. I really like the subtle details, the silent nod to every greasy spoon diner in town and the archaeologist's dream of finding the remnants of an old Hanna-Barbera cartoon car buried in their backyard...classic!

I actually had to ask Rich about this one having mistakenly called the squirrel a woodchuck. Had me kind of scratching my head, but well illustrated and strangely funny nonetheless.
